5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Our website uses, or may use, cookies, pixels, tags, and related technologies to operate the website, understand visitor activity, evaluate marketing campaigns, and improve the effectiveness of advertising.

These technologies may include services provided by:

  • Squarespace

  • Google Analytics

  • Google Ads

  • Meta Platforms, including Facebook and Instagram

  • Other technology providers integrated with our website

Depending on the technology and configuration, these services may collect device identifiers, browsing activity, referral information, and website-interaction or conversion data.

We may also use eligible adult customer contact information with advertising platforms for activities such as customer-audience matching, campaign measurement, and relevant advertising, where permitted by applicable law.

Some advertising-related disclosures or processing activities may be classified as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws even when no money is exchanged for personal information.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notices, consent choices, or mechanisms to exercise relevant privacy rights.

You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings and any consent or preference tools made available on our website. Disabling certain technologies may affect website features.

Third-party advertising and analytics providers may also offer their own privacy and advertising-preference controls.

6. How We Share Information

We may disclose information to third parties when necessary for business operations, services requested by customers, legal obligations, or other purposes described in this Policy.

Recipients may include:

Business management: Blaze Sports Group Inc., which provides management and administrative services to Blaze Gymnastics.

Service providers: Companies that support website hosting, class registration, payment processing, customer communications, technology services, recordkeeping, and business administration.

Marketing and analytics providers: Platforms and service providers that support website analytics, marketing campaigns, customer communications, audience measurement, and advertising.

Professional advisers: Accountants, attorneys, insurance professionals, and other advisers when reasonably necessary.

Public authorities: Government agencies, regulators, or law-enforcement authorities when disclosure is legally required or otherwise permitted.

Business successors: Parties involved in an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, sale of assets, restructuring, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.

We seek to limit disclosures to information reasonably appropriate for their intended purposes.

This Policy does not authorize unrestricted use of student information by unrelated third parties.

7. Children’s Privacy

Blaze Gymnastics provides programs for children, but our website’s inquiry and enrollment processes are intended to be completed by parents or legal guardians.

We do not intend for children to independently submit personal information through our website.

Parents and guardians provide student information through authorized enrollment and registration procedures.

We collect and use children’s information to administer requested programs, maintain appropriate records, communicate with families, and support student safety.

Children’s personal information is subject to additional protections under applicable law, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and New York children’s privacy requirements where applicable.

We do not intend to use student medical information or children’s individual enrollment records to target advertising directly to minors.

Parents and legal guardians who have questions about their child’s information may contact us using the information at the end of this Policy. We may verify identity and authority before providing access to or modifying information.

8. Email, Text Messages, and Other Communications

We may use contact information provided by parents, guardians, and prospective customers to communicate regarding inquiries, enrollment, program schedules, billing, closures, and other business matters.

We may also send promotional emails about gymnastics programs, camps, birthday parties, special events, and related offerings, subject to applicable law.

Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe method when required. Opting out of promotional communications does not necessarily prevent us from sending important enrollment, billing, safety, or service-related messages.

Our website chat feature, provided through our customer relationship management platform, allows visitors to contact us by text message or email. Before submitting, visitors see a checkbox stating that they agree to receive SMS and email messages at the contact details they provide. This box is selected by default, and visitors may uncheck it before submitting if they do not wish to receive these messages.

If you submit the chat form with the box selected, we may send text messages related to your inquiry, trial-class scheduling, enrollment, and our programs and events. Message frequency varies. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Providing a telephone number through our general contact form, which does not include a text-message consent option, does not by itself constitute consent to receive automated promotional text messages.

We may offer additional optional text-message programs in the future and will obtain consent where required by applicable law.

Message and data rates may apply to text communications, depending on your mobile-service provider.

9. Student Photographs and Videos

Blaze Gymnastics may photograph or record activities for purposes that include program documentation, website content, social media, advertising, and promotion.

The collection and use of student photographs and videos are subject to applicable registration agreements, permissions, and legal requirements.

Our enrollment process includes a photo/video release as part of the registration agreement.

Although the existing registration agreement includes this release, we recognize that some parents prefer that their children not be photographed or recorded.

Parents or guardians may contact us to request that staff avoid photographing or recording their child. We make reasonable efforts to honor these requests prospectively.

Such requests should be communicated to Blaze Gymnastics directly so that staff can be informed. Previously created or published material may require separate review.

Nothing in this section overrides privacy rights or consent requirements established by applicable law.

10. Information Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and operational measures intended to safeguard personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure.

Access to personal information is generally limited to staff, management personnel, and authorized service providers whose responsibilities require it.

We also rely on third-party technology providers to maintain safeguards appropriate to their services.

No method of electronic transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we become aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will evaluate and respond to the incident in accordance with applicable law.

11. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to support enrollment, customer relationships, business operations, safety, accounting, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and other legitimate purposes described in this Policy.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and applicable requirements.

When information is no longer needed and no applicable obligation requires its continued retention, we may delete, de-identify, or otherwise appropriately dispose of it.

12. Your Privacy Choices and Requests

Depending on applicable law and the nature of the information, individuals may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information.

Parents and legal guardians may also contact us regarding information maintained about their children.

To submit a privacy-related request, contact info@blazegymnastics.com.

Requests will be reviewed and handled in accordance with applicable law, including any identity-verification requirements, record-retention obligations, and legally permitted exceptions.

You may also:

  • Unsubscribe from eligible promotional emails.

  • Request changes to contact preferences.

  • Adjust available browser or website cookie preferences.

  • Contact us regarding student photographs and videos.

We do not discriminate against individuals for exercising applicable statutory privacy rights.

13. Third-Party Platforms and External Websites

Our website may contain links to outside websites and services, including registration portals, social media platforms, and payment systems.

These third parties may operate under their own privacy policies and terms of service.

We encourage users to review the applicable policies before providing information directly to an outside platform.

14. Processing Locations

Information may be processed or stored by Blaze Gymnastics and its service providers in the United States or other jurisdictions where applicable providers operate.

Where required, appropriate legal safeguards will apply to such processing.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
